I love cats. It started with Penny, my sweet, yellow tabby I had for 15 years (see portrait). While pursuing a career as an actor in LA, I supported myself by working as an executive assistant and a cat sitter for people in the neighborhood.

In December 2021, I began pet sitting professionally in Hollywood. That’s when I realized that cat owners didn’t want just any pet sitter. They wanted a cat person. I also realized that my background as an actor (I’m good with people) and executive assistant (I anticipate others’ needs well) was an asset to my clients. So, I launched my own business focusing solely on cats.

In January of 2025, I formed an LLC and registered the name Purr City with the state of California. Purr City is insured and bonded, currently serving parts of Hollywood and West Hollywood, and is growing!
